My thinking was use that test port I found, which is threaded, along with a braided pressure hose. Notch the manifold shield, run the house along the base of the valve cover, and secure the sender to the a bolt for the engine lift bracket, making a small bracket for it.
To use the factory 1.8 sender with a T will require removing the compressor and reinstalling and that's a bit more work than I feel like, and I'm not confident there is room there for a bulb style sender from an aftermarket gauge.
