This will more appropriately consolidate some pictures and thoughts about my recent trip to Rodgers Chevrolet. First up, The Spymaster's ZL1, partially Pedderised, and BeckyD's SS, which is fully Pedderised:

$97.38 X 4 + sales tax + labor = $777.38 + alignment.

Have some more driving since early this morning. Feels solid, turns w/o any roll.

Entered I-696 at Mound, wanted to go 60 but psychologically could not. A few more and I should break 60 there. Very solid.

Already quick steering is now crisp and quick due to the springs holding everything tight.

No, not a permagrin but the closest thing to it in a mini-box, I swear.

Upset with myself for waiting so long, then I remembered I could not have gotten the lowering coils any quicker.

If fun is a big part of your driving experience, I recommend you get on one of the waiting lists. You will be glad you did.

I got them through one of their authorized dealers, Rodgers Chevrolet, who also did the install.

The first picture in this thread shows one of their salesperson's Camaro SS, which is fully Pedderised. BeckyD answers ordering questions on Camaro5 and many of my answers here are based on what I have learned following her thread.

The white ZL1's owner currently drives "Veteran 1 - Honor The Fallen" which has appeared in many parades and carries the tag: All Have Given Some Their All. It, too, has been fully Pedderised.

Your Sonic looks great, I am agreeing with a post from another thread that I would like the back just a hair lower. But the car does look awesome. Who has two thumbs and is jealous??? THIS GUY!!!

Technically, as long as any modification you make to the vehicle doesnt directly cause a malfunction of warrantied parts it does not void the warranty.

Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act

Basically, as long as you are adding high-quality parts from a respectable aftermarket company the dealership has to honor the warranty. Now, if something goes wrong with a part under warranty on the car and your aftermarket part is damaged they have no obligation to replace the aftermarket part.

I expect there will be some settling, xtremsonic, so the back should drop down, I am expecting about another quarter inch. It has already lost its pickup truck aspect. In several days we will know for sure.

Can't wait to see after a few weeks when it settles out. Did you take some base measurements after installing? Then after a few weeks take them again to see how much it settles.

Laborsmith, please clarify for me: you had only lowering springs installed but no change to the stock shocks? Or were some Pedders shocks installed, too?

Only lowering coils (aka lowering springs).

I did not take measurements before. JusticePete took measurements on his Sonic before installing coilovers, and I have no problem going with his measurements, recognizing every vehicle is somewhat different. When I return next week, I will ask if there are before measurements and ask the installer to take after.

Not on the site to be ordered, probably because there were only a few sets made in order to make sure they worked correctly. At least, that is my understanding of what happened.

As for measuring, I will measure the air dam ground clearance today. Before lowering, it was 4.9 inches. For the record, the Camaro I traded in was 5.0 inches.

Scraping: my condo is being re-roofed, and I used two of my neighbors driveway. One no scraping, just like mine, and the second some scraping.

Mileage: I will try to keep tack of mileage, but I even have trouble remembering to reset the DIC, so we will see. This change was made so I could get the drivability I wanted, not for mpg improvements but I know some will be interested so I will try.

Drivability so far: woo hoo, hot dang. On the other hand, I expected that.
