mild project for my 2013 Sonic that i picked up about a month ago. Will be trying to keep it quite and stealthy.
First thing i did, is remove the front license plate and dealer stickers.

Next thing was a trailer hitch

it was a bit of a tight fit getting above the muffler

I have also bought GM roof rack, but was not happy with the fit. It appears to interfere with the doors too much, so i took it off unless really needed.

Next thing i was looking is the coil pack cover. DDM is selling one with their name, it did not make sense to put advertisements on the engine of my car. I decided to make my own. Few measurements and it came out pretty good. I still need to stop by fasteners place to get some hardware to actually install it.

Looks good. I like the home made coil cover, are you planing on putting a design on it, painting it, or leaving it as is?

spell check fail, english as a second language in my defense. I deal with electronics, but we have a machine shop that i visit during lunch time. I think i will leave the cover the way it is, i can always add something to it or paint it. Going to get the exhaust redone next tuesday.

2.5" turbo back exhaust done today, should be able to get few pictures later today or tomorrow.

It is still very quet, just a little bit louder than stock. It pulls uphills better at low rpm's now, which is a plus.

the trailer hitch came from etrailer.

i would not going back to Almaty, where i grew up.
I had the intake manifold shipped to Turbo tech racing, and as pointed out in their thread it was decided not to make an aftermarket one. I will probably leave the runners without porting until someone can prove that the restriction was not added for better mpg or torque down in lower rpm's . I guess next step is put it back together and take it to the dealership for oil that i found in the intake.
