My first brand new vehicle. Previous was an Audi S4 and I'm finding myself doing all the things to this one that I wanted to do on that one. Sadly had to sell it due to repair costs. Loved the Focus, Fiesta, and Cruze too - but in the end happy with the Sonic.
Here goes!

Seagull Accident...I had a minor seagull accident the other day doing about 85 on this highway, this seagull just got smoked by my windshield. No cracks, but a tiny tiny dent on the hood. More reason to buy a Carbon Fiber one...

New wheels/tires, really set it off. Next up is the carbon fiber hood and intake, then maybe a tune.
A few additions...
Got my interior/license plate lights put in last night while my girl was taking forever to get ready...got the kit for 17 dollars on eBay. The back hatch light is such a PITA to remove I didn't bother, and the dome light is the wrong size (too short vs the stock bulb) but I'm happy, never use the dome anyways and the 2 map lights light the entire car very well.
*EDIT* - Updated with some new white LED's instead, the blue were cool but didn't light things up very well like I wanted.
Old on left, new on right:
So far I've ordered and I am waiting on this in the mail:
Tune/Cable
BNR Headers/Downpipe
ASA GT06 wheels
But today I was able to get the Injen Intake installed, as well as the ZZP Muffler and 8000k HID's. Also put on the bug deflector, it looks great. Here are some pictures..
Stock on left, HID on right:
This is a part that we can't figure out what it does...probably some emission/secondary air crap. It was plugged into the stock airbox. We unplugged it and popped a plug in there, sealed it up with silicone.
Headers/Downpipe install, as well as shark-fin and fresh oil change. We ripped out the stupid California Emission 2nd Air-Injection system too, much cleaner. Also got some Enkei RSF5's in silver, the decision between gunmetal, black, or silver was gunmetal...but then I just started to dislike the wheels I was going to go with, so I pulled the trigger on these. If you look back at some of my old posts I was actually going to get these wheels back in June or so, finally happy I did. I should have the first time around, but it's all good, I ended up selling my other wheels and making a good deal, about $100 in the hole but close enough to breaking even to make the wheels worth it IMO. Wheels I really want are some nice 8.5-9" wide ones and they run $1k+ per wheel so no thanks on that right now. I got these, installed for $630.
One thing I want to note is that the BNR Downpipe bolts they give you are too big for ZZP Cat Delete. We had to burn through 3 drill bits to get through that titanium ZZP pipe to drill the holes out bigger, and in the end just used different bolts than the ones BNR gave us since there was no getting through it (we got one side). I also want to note that BNR should give you a new manifold gasket, and not just downpipe ones. I don't like reusing old gaskets that have the seal broken but we had no choice. No exhaust leak but meh...I'd perfer a new gasket for the manifold. The Oxygen sensor is a tight fit too, no slack in it at all lol

After:
Shark-Fin
A little tune to finish it off...
Now I think I'm actually happy with the chrome trim since I have these silver wheels. I used to hate it, but now I actually don't mind it at all, in fact I like it. More reason for me to not mess around with PlastiDip (I just find it cheap).

So a little update.....been awhile.... about 8 months ago i got hit by a girl who ran a red light. I got a new carbon fiber hood out of it. I been dabbling with roof rack or not but in the end im selling it and i think its cleaner without it .... since i have a Audi for AWD anyways now. Also - going to be buying a Honda Lip and ZL1 steering wheel. I want new seats eventually but thats a big investment i dont wanna drop right now.
