Rims Question

I would love to get something like these:

Or another type of 3 spoke rims, but how do I go about finding out what fits and what doesn't?
I'm a complete newbie when it comes to cars.

Also, is it road safe to just have the front two (or the back two) wheels with different rims on them?

Staggered rim sizes are used in many high performance cars.

You are looking for PCD 5X105 with a 40 offset unless you go wider than say 7.5 inches the offset will need to be adjusted.

I have seen pictures of Sonics with 18 inch rims posted in this forum.

I have not seen any 3 spoke rims.

Posted quickly before Sonic locks the thread. And moves it to its proper place.

Whoops, where was I supposed to post? Sorry.

Also, I got the lowest version available, which I think means I have the 15" default rims - If I somehow manage to find 15" 3 spoke rims in that bolt pattern, can I use the tires that came with the vehicle?

I've looked all over Tire Rack but nothing I'm interested in is out yet.

These are pretty awesome, and a decent price, but I had to use the search as 2012 Aveo to find the Sonic.. so I'm not sure that's valid. http://www.carid.com/konig-wheels/incident-graphite-machined-465460.html.

My guess would be the Wheel and Tire section.

2012 Aveo uses 4 bolts and I believe is 4X100 PCD.
2012 Sonic uses 5 bolts and is 5X105 PCD.

Discount (America's) Tires sells Konig rims, so visiting a local tire dealer (not just Discount) could help you with the specifics. Mini Cooper rims do not fit the 2012 Sonic.

Question: why are you considering a staggered setup?

I have seen those rims before, but usually they are 20" and up; not to say you couldn't find them smaller. Try actually going to a local rim and tire store such as Discount Tire, Martin Tire, Firestone, etc, and see if they can help you. They're usually pretty knowledgeable.
