removing rear seat

Has anyone had the rear seat out of their hatch? I don't need it, and would like to remove it at least for now to make more room back there. Would appreciate any information on how to go about it.

The lower seat removes quite easily, just pull up from the front and it pops up and pulls out at an angle.

Remove the center pivot bracket and the backs will come out easily too

Here's mine without lower seat. I keep the backs in place so the dog has a floor, otherwise mine would be out too

this is the bracket you should remove to make the seat back removal easier...
