So I don’t really like the look of the stock spoiler on the hatchback. I’ve been doing some looking, and I can’t seem to find one that isn’t over the top. I personally don’t like the big wang look, but I appreciate a little something.
I wanted to get everyone’s opinion on this.
I mocked up a duck wing style spoiler template out of cardboard. The factory wing has a nice slanted lip that the bottom end of the duck bill could be mounted to. For extra stability (and hot boy points), I could also attach some small wire to the duck bill and attach it to the top of the factory spoiler.
I’m think some 1/8 inch aluminum sheet metal to use for the bill. Maybe wrap it in a vinyl carbon and add some small trim to the edge to give a nice rounded look.
