O2 sensors?

I've been looking everywhere on this forum to no avail.

I'm trying to find out where my O2 sensors are on my 2013 Sonic. It's revving high at start up and sometimes at idle. Engine light code reads O2 sensor bank 1.

should be one before and one after the catalytic convertor....
here's a 1.8...that white cord...is the upper O2 sensor..upstream I think it's called??

The blue wire in the 1.4 turbo.

the other one should be behind the cat in both models

And there's another one under by the 2 catalytic converter.

Old thread.... So there is no Bank 2, sensor 1, correct? I guess Bank 2 is for V configuration engines

So I'm tripping up a P0420 code in Bank 1.
Does that narrow the issue down to my upstream O2 Sensor only? Or could Bank 1 pertain to my downstream sensor (behind the Cat) as well?

If you order from RockAuto or somewhere, two sensors are cheap and you should replace them both at the same time. Be warned they can be a little tough to start turning.
