2019 Chevy Sonic RS in MD

Hey everyone!

I am new here and just bought my first car other than a Dodge on Saturday. I walked away from the dealership with a 2019 Sonic RS. Lovely little car! Way better to drive than the Dart I had a few years back.

Anywho, I am stalking this forum for modifications to start making on the Sonic. Seeing whats out there and what can be done.

Any and all help would be appreciated!

I've been searching on here and finding a few things. A lot of nice cars on here. So far I'm looking at getting:

CAI - Unsure what brand yet.
LED Fog Lights
LED Head Lights
Door Chrome Removal
Taillight Chrome Removal
Exhaust System - Still undecided which way to go with this as well.

That's all I have thought of so far. If there is anything to increase performance that I missed drop it in here.

There are various tunes that can increase performance with no changes to the car physically like Trifecta. There are some offical GM performance parts for the intake and exhaust and ZZP has a upgraded inter cooler, turbo, intake and exhaust. Lastly off the top of my head there was a topic on the forum here that discusses how to use the Camaro steering wheel to add paddle shifters and another for rear disc breaks.

I have put trifecta on but nothing else at the moment.

I have been looking into the ZZP Catback exhaust. They are supposed to be letting me know when it's back in stock so I can go get it put on. Intake I went with Check-Point Tuning, should be here today. As far as toon goes, Trifecta and BNR seems to be the 2 most people go with. Just still kicking around the pros and cons of both.

Nice ride! I chose a ZZP intake on my 2016 and love it. It keeps the engine bay looking clean while performing like a CAI should. I’m definitely going with a full ZZP exhaust at some point, just have other plans for the car until I reach that point. You should post pics of your intake when you get it put on!
