11 hour drive to beaver, utah with a couple stops for gas towing with the sonic. Getting avaerage 25mpg. Not too bad!

Omg... so much. I'll have to see if there is a way for me to get total weight. But im assuming that with the full trailer, the roof box, my interior from the front seats back and the passenger seat.... like 2-3k lbs. If I caget it it weighed I can takr the weight of the car to get a rough idea.

1) is that trailer braked?
2) I can't possibly believe that's even below GM Europe's limits!
3) do you think you're over 900 pounds payload for the car (yourself, your stuff, your roof box and everything inside it)?

Both cars are stuffed completely. I put stuff in as many places as possible, even using the door handles inside the door as storage and under the seats!

Its a ****ty 4x8 uhaul trailer thus no brakes haha. If its below any limits listed in a manual, it would probably be for an SUV. I know I am totally pushing the limits of the RS capabilities.

900lbs with the roof box, me, and everything packed in the car yes. Add the trailer aaaand im sure that adds like 1500-2500lbs (including weight of trailer empty). I have all my tools in there, full sized toolbox, and tooons of other stuff.

Do we really have a GVWR that's 900lbs over curb weight? Jesus, 4 grown adult in the car and you're damn close to that

I reconsidered your post and thought about it a little further. I believe that my gross weight if you include the trailer tongue weight only that I would still be under the 900 pound mark.

Lol. After I posted. I looked at my tire pressure sticker in the door frame, and it states that the combined weight of passengers and cargo should never exceed eight hundred and forty seven pounds.

Hope you're running the tire pressure near the 44 psi limit to prevent the overloaded weight from overheating your tires. You'll need that extra margin at the extreme weight you are hauling. Safe travels.

Thwu are running at about 40PSI with Nitrogen as thats what the dealer put in.

Lol I wish!!! We just finished our 6th day and are in Fort Nelson, British Columbia. It is approximately 3600 miles from start to finish. Because we have the trailer and a dog with us, we have broken it up into 9 days of driving to my cabin in Alaska where we will probably rest a day before driving the rest of the distance of about 6 hours to Anchorage.

Then we have to get keys to the apartment, unload and unpack, clean, and all the great stuff that goes with moving into somewhere new.....
