20,000 miles tread depth

Curious if anyone else has noticed their OEM tires wearing on the fast side? I'm down to 6/32 on the fronts and 7/32 on the rears. I need to rotate them sure but seems like I won't be getting near the miles from these tires as I'm used to.

Of course, the Sonic also makes me drive a little difference than I used to.

SO at 20k miles you have lost 30-40% of your tread depth. I would think that is acceptable. I have 3 sets of wheels/tires for my car so I wont know how I am doing for mileage on any of them. The 17s will probably be worn out first due to having fun with them.

I don't know if it is or not which is why I'm asking I guess.
I think my 06 GP had tires that claimed to be good for 80K. Not sure if that was true or not but I recall the claim.

As I said though, in the Sonic I tend to take corners a lot faster than in other vehicles.

I find that most people never hit the claimed mileage rating for tires. Its like fuel economy.

I lump mileage ratings with the treadwear rating. I have had 240 treadware out last a 400.

Hancooks are 60k miles I think. Should start at 10/32nds. So you'll make it to around 45,000 before its recommended to replace based on your tread depth(2/32nds) or around 50,000 before you really need to worry about it.
