6 speed manual transmission in Chevy Cruze

I was considering buying a 2014 Chevy Cruze LT, 1.4 turbo, 6 speed manual as the second car. However, since there still seem to be problems with the Sonic 6 speed manual transmission, this would be the case with Cruze as well, because I assume GM uses the same transmission in both cars. Cruze manual transmission cars use only the 6 speed, with both the 1.8 and 1.4 engines, whereas 1.8 liter engine Sonics only come with a 5 speed manual. Cruze ECO 6 speed manual gear ratios are somewhat taller than those on a regular Cruze LT to achieve better fuel economy.

Have all problems been eliminated with the 6 speed manual transmission for the 2014 model year?

Can someone answer the last question? Are there still known problems with the Sonic/Cruse 6 speed manual transmission starting with the 2014 model year?

Same problems. It's still a M32 model transmission.

I have a Cruze 1.8 MZ0 transmission in my 1.4T Sonic. I chose it for the shorter gearing than the stock Sonic MZ4 transmission
