Whats the best type of oil to put in the sonic? I know its 5W-30 but does anyone have any recommendations on what brand of oil is the best?

This. And we are done here. The DEXOS label is the most important thing. After that, it's a matter of personal preference and where you can find the best price, etc. A thread like this is like asking "what's the best brand of pickup truck?". You will get a million answers, none that really prove a point.
