if you have your iDevice jail broken you can use the ELM 327 as well. it gives me more than i can ask for and i can add any display in any formation i want. i love it!
i think i will always be disagreeing with the ultraguage ppl here. IMO $35 for torque with a blue tooth dongle is pretty much the same thing. tho they may get to read something i cant but i can read everything i need. i.e fault codes, hp, torque (from ecm not at wheels obv) temp from intake, oil and cat's, a/f ratio, timing and other fun additions like the ability to display that all on a video of me driving. just my 2 cents tho.
also it won't wear out my phone screen prematurely...
