OEM Spakers vs Focal Access

I am installing an external AMP (Hertz EP4) and a little 8" jl audio JB.
I have a spare Focal Access 165A1 2 way kit here, and I am in doubt if I should use it or not.
The sound guy, believe or not, says the OEM speakers will sound better than this Focal Access line, wich is an entry level line of the brand.
I am not sure.
What do you think?

Start with a good head unit first off. GM speakers actually seem to be pretty decent in my opinion. Get a quality head unit and your amp and sub, then see what you think. Back when I had my old 95 chevy beretta, I had a 200 watt pioneer deck in it when I was a kid. No amp or anything. It could actually rattle the rear view mirror with stock speakers and that deck. If the sonic speakers are anything like that, the sound guy might be right.

we proceed with the install of the focal kits, after removing the OEM 2-way speakers I could testify that in fact they are of very good quality, as good as the focal access i was intalling, wich is an entry level design.
In my case, it was not a problem, because I already had the spare focal kit, but I would not recommend to buy an Aftermarket 2-way kit for the Sonic, unless you are going for the hi-end stuff.
