Replacing intake manifold

I’ve got a new manifold coming in but I was hoping to get some insight a to whether I should be buying any other parts. Have any of you replaced the intake manifold? And did you run into any other issues? Trying to avoid downing my car

I strongly suggest replacing the fuel injector orings. The ones that are exposed when you remove the fuel rail as one assembly. Do not remove the fuel line from the fuel injector rail. It is not necessary. You have plenty of room to push it aside. Make sure you properly torque all the bolts because they are steel bolts going into a plastic manifold with inserts if you strip them you're screwed.

Thank you for the recommendation. Bought an o-ring kit today. Have you replaced the manifold before? If so, did you run into any issues with hardware breaking or additional components needing replaced?

I did the pcv modification. Just be careful releasing the connectors. Take your time and pay attention to details. Use a new intake gasket. Lubricate the fuel injector o rings with oil or vasoline before installing the fuel rail back in the manifold. I always stress use a good quality torque wrench and properly torque the manifold bolts. There is a bonding strap that goes between the intake bolt and the fuel rail. Very important to reinstall it. Becareful when tightening the nut for the strap on the fuel rail. Just snug it gently. You don't want to overtighten it and strip the threads.
