Scraping underbody when going down a steep driveway

I apologize if this is an odd question, but once in a while when I'm driving out of my friend's driveway/street (not reversing, as it is a weird setup. It's hard to explain). It's almost impossible to avoid scraping for me, even if I go very slowly and at an angle. Is there something I can do in order to get out without scraping? It makes me cringe when I hear the plastic scrape and I don't want to damage the car.

I scrape mine coming out/in my driveway.. does no damage, the part actually bends with the slope...just "scraaapppeeeee''!!

My plastic bendy piece is no more! Goodbye sound! I also have a thin aluminum skid plate down there and I have hit it on things.
