Tailpipe extension...

back in the day,one could go to Pep boys and buy a chrome tailpipe extension (6"-12") to dress up car.being I'm concerned with the tailpipe outlet being 3'-4' short of reaching past the body,which could let fumes into the car several different ways,thru seals etc.I need to know if anyone manufactures the item so I could install it on my Sonic.

AutoZone looks like they have a good selection.

It's going to look like a limp *****.

I don't think there's any increased risk of getting fumes in the car with our pipe.
