I'm at my wits end on this (and I don't have many to begin with).
2013 Sonic LT w/MyLink.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (international version: GT-N7100) running Android 4.1.1.
Phone is paired with car just fine. Streaming audio from a variety of apps works fine.
Voice calling... not so much.
It will work, but only if I disable the lock screen on the phone. Otherwise I have to fumble for the phone, bypass the lock screen, and THEN initiate the call... which is extremely hazardous and defeats the whole point of hands-free calling.
I could disable the lock screen and just use swipe instead, but that is very insecure in the event that the phone gets lost or stolen.
How in blazes to I get bluetooth voice calling to work when the phone is off/locked?
Searching the Interwebz comes up with any number of Samsung owners (primarily Galaxy S III owners) encountering the same problems with car usage, but I'm not finding any solutions.
Help?
