Yep. My plan is to wait until Preloader is just about finished with his turbo upgrade, and build a whole kit with tubular top mount header over a weekend, dyno it, post graphs of 285whp, and watch his build thread dry up...
It *might* spin these tires over with 285whp.
BTW I'm kidding...however I can be quite impulsive.

It certainly wouldn't bother me if you beat me to a turbo swap, in fact I would enjoy seeing someone else's swap ideas put into effect.
This is my first turbo car, so obviously it's my first turbo swap. A year ago I didn't even more than the bare minimum of turbocharging fundamentals. I literally got my first lesson from Wikipedia.
So hopefully it's no surprise that I'm taking the slow, self-educating (ive procured quite a library of TC books) approach to my swap. I'm quite convicted in my desire for a cast mani, but I can see how a tube mani could speed things along. I could even score the SS elbows for free at work. They have a terrible reputation of "falling off the truck" during deliveries.
I think your "meat stance" will be begging you for more hp. Those tires are going to be bouncing checks that your engine doesn't have the funds to be writing.

Needed to go lower than the the Eibachs would allow so I pulled the trigger on some Megan Racing coilovers.
Younger me would have gone lower, but I didn't think the "school bus" should have to creep everywhere to avoid damage taking the kids to school, so I'm happy with this height.
