There is nothing wrong with the 1.8

OK I'm getting a little pissed off. Yes the 1.4 has a turbo. Oh well there is still nothing wrong with the 1.8.... u could use a 100 different excesses . And there argument boils down to this.. well it Dont have a turbo .... no $hit sherlok. Not all engine need a turbo. Not all people like the turbo.. ( me being one of them). The second argument is the trimming belt. My honda had 290k on it when I sold it on the original belt...... its not a big deal... ur little 1.4 might not even see 100k Cuz u keep beating the $hit out of them.. there is one thing and only one thing I like about the turbo. And its the m32 transmission. That is the only reason I would buy a turbo sonic ( other then if they had a as version). I'm getting ready to turn 12k and my friends is almost at 30k. And guess what 0 problem what so ever. From a performance stand point yes turbo. But it is not needed. Mine will still do 125 stock.

Just playing its fine and dandy, as they say different strokes for different folks. Each has its strengths and weaknesses, and they are both awesome class leading engines. As long as you like your engine that's all that matters

how many intake choices are available for the 1.8?

Im not saying it sucks, it's a fine engine, But we have a turbo and aftermarket is going to support the tuner side of that.

I still think the sedans are ugly...... like I said this is my opinions.I've always been more satisfied with n/a power then boost.
My 8000 lb truck will walk past my sonic any day of the week. But its all boost (42lb currently) its fun as hell but not the same.....

the only way a sedan is superior than a hatch is that it gives me more surface to draw dirty things on when your car hasn't been washed in weeks.

Once I get my tune installed, and water meth injection setup. I personally just don't think the hatchbacks look finished.. like they ran out of time when designing the butt end. The only batch I like is the 12 sti. Sonic hatches are cute, but don't the sedans look classy ?
