Yeah, mine is patchy on the cheeks as well, thus I generally shave the cheeks. I figure if I can't grow a manly-ass beard at current age of 29, it probably won't happen. So I do with what I have.

I grow a perfect chin strap/goatee. it's ridiculous. but, I'm only 21. luckily enough, the love of my life isn't a facial hair freak so it's quite alright.

For a few years a lived with an Asian housemate. He was lucky to grow 4 hairs on his entire face being same age as me.

It's rare that women life facial hair, at least in my own experience. I consider myself lucky as I can go months w/o shaving and actually receive compliments from the SO.

My fiancee loves the scruff I have from about 1-2 weeks without shaving. More than 2 weeks and its to much. Sometimes just to irritate her I will shave the day before she comes over.

This conversation reminds me of the local radio talk show I was listening to on the way from work. They were talking about shaving for men and such. Host said that the most unsexy pose for a man would be while shaving the coin purse.
