Skid Plate

The skid plate Dimensions are 30" wide by 32.5" long and is made of 1/8th inch steel plate. It is strong enough without being to thick. and it only cost me $50 to do. I attached the skid plate to the front cross member with some bolts through the many pre-existing holes that are already there. it is bolted into soild sturdy locations.
love the ride man and also love the wink mirror and everything that you have done. so with the lowering coils you have how much did those cost and did you have to do any certan mods to anything. but the wink mirror, when installing it how did you, and do you like the views it gives you
Does your skid plate cause your engine temps to rise at all? I plan to make something similar, but out of aluminum so its light. The factory cover has openings in it, but im not sure how much air actually passes through or if it matters making the bottom completely flat. I'm not as low as you but in Michigan $hit happens.
With the skid plate. I don't find the engine temps to be any higher than normal. Being so low, not much air would be able to get under anyway. I know what you mean. I Live in Louisiana and anything can happen. It is great to have, especially when the unexpected happens. my skid-plate has saved my @$$ a few times
