My dealership offers it for like 980 installed. I haven't heard it yet but, I do know it is 2.25" pipe compared to ZZP having a 2.50" ... The only thing I really like about the Borla system is the muffler tip. I plan on putting a dual tip on my Sonic. At the current price for the Borla I think you are better going with a ZZP setup. It's only 820 for Turbo Back and a better performance option with larger diameter pipe.

They do use 304 stainless steel in their catbacks.

Does anyone have any pictures of the tip on the RS and how it looks for the zzp system?

rcmn, Someone on the "Build Thread" has this system, I'll try to find it here in a few. I've been emailing ZZP about other exhaust tips as I'm not a big fan of the coffee can style tips. Only info I have right now is it is an addition 75 to customize it so look at around 875+ shipping for a better system with the muffler you want. When I get more info or pictures of option I'll proably post about it on the aftermarket forum.

Good catch on the dual tip. I didn't catch that when I read her thread. Not sure how I missed it since I read the whole thing.

My last final exam is tomorrow night, after that I'll be saving up for a new exhaust. I'll be taking any extra shifts that are offered to me so I can hear the rumble.

I feel the RS package could have had a more aggressive exhaust tone, after all it is an appearance package and I feel exhaust sound is more about your appearance than the performance benefits of one.

Hopefully I'll have the money by the time that zzp releases it. If I manage to get zzp to email any photos I'll post up a new thread in this RS section.

I actually had my dealer install it and that's the EXACT exhaust I had installed. It sounds awesome here is a clip in a tunnel when I was coming back from the beach, you can really hear the turbo coming through the exhaust..

The exhaust does sound good, but I wouldn't want to spend 900 on a exhaust from Borla when I can get a full turbo back system from ZZP for 800.

It's not GMs warranty, it's Borlas. All Borla exhaust systems are backed by a ridiculous warranty. Either lifetime or a million miles. Can't remember which.

I was looking over on bnr earlier and this wasn't there. You must have added it very recently. Thanks for getting it up on your site, now I just need to pick up an extra $740 in shifts at work

I know Borla has a huge warranty on their products, just the way he was making it sound was that the dealer would void warranties on his car without getting the Borla one.

I feel dealerships always are looking for ways to void your warranty if you have ANYTHING aftermarket on your car. Your warranty is only good as the dealership you bought it from. I had a tech tell me the other day if I replaced my coolant lines with silicone aftermarket ones I was liable for any issues with the engine cooling system :blankface:

If one of the silicone hoses bursts you are liable. Other than that if you keep the proper coolant in the system they are going to have a hard time proving the silicone hoses caused the failure.
