Thanks Insanika. This place is amazing and there is so much more to photo but couldn't get my car into some of the places. I also wasn't feeling super safe with my eyes on the camera screen. Would def be more focused with a sidekick out there.

I will be doing some work on my car tonight with my Nephew since they are in town and he had a few ideas he wanted me to try on it for him, he's 9, sooooooooo we shall see how this goes.

Pics to come later tonight or in the morning if it gets to late.....wish me luck on letting a 9 year old decide what mods to do to my car lol, oh the things we do for kids.

Well it got late we didn't get a chance to clean the overspray from the tires but he had a great time learning how to jack up the car and all the steps it takes to get it done. There will maybe be a little more I'll let him decide on and help with we shall see this weekend.

It isn't the best job but will work since he gave it his best first attempt. I'm thinking this can be a holiday thing where he helps me Dip parts according to the time of year . Orange for Halloween, red front and green back for Christmas, lime green for St. Paddys and so on lol.

Better pics once they are cleaned up and car gets a needed bath after my road trip to GA last weekend.

Entire roof would look sexy but I'm not sure if it would add to, or take away from the imperial look. Can't hurt to try. I think what you've got going on does very well.

On a random note, my last car had gray cladding on the lower portion. Hated it so I plasti-dipped it black. The entire time I was doing it I was playing the imperial death march in my head uncontrollably. Lol.

The way you dipped the front of your Sonic, I'm not bashing your creativity, but in my opinion it looks like a bloated evo. The evo's are narrow while the sonic is already bulky, doing that to your front makes it look like a bloated evo when you mix the two together. Still like the look of the car though.

How can a car that is smaller than an EVO look like same car but bloated? If you look through every other Sonic that has done the EVO style grille mine is by far the narrowest of them. I dipped straight down from the upper grille down to the corners on the bumper. All the other pictures listed below flare out from the upper grille instead of going straight down. Also if you look at the pic of the EVO it flares out also just like everyone did theirs.

So to summarize the Dip job I did is the exact opposite of bloated if anything it is thinner than the EVO as I wasn't trying to copy the EVO. What you're saying doesn't make any sense unless you aren't explaining yourself properly.

Merry Christmas!!! Dipped the wheels green and red for the holiday season and staggered the colors around the car, so front and back both have red and green. Liked the orange more but tis the season .
