Intake and exhaust setup

most likely because of the turbo vehicle but....

why not have the motor turned around? Seems ass backwards to me to have all those bends in the exhaust and the manifold come out the front, then have the intake manifold at the warmest part of the engine bay.

Would seem to be nearly a header setup strait out the back and intake in the front would keep it cool.

Just something that popped in there.

Almost every FWD car had the exhaust coming out the front... and if you put it near the fire wall the bends would be tighter and would really heat of the passanger compartment... nothing to do with the turbo.... just looks differnt since the air intake is connected to the exhaust (turbo)

FWD v8's and V6's didn't seem to have to many problems coming out the back, but I guess this does allow it to be closer to the firewall...and the rear manifolds actually had less bending and routing.
