Today I ported the extra manifold that came out of a 2012 Cruze that I bought for $120(under full warranty till 100k so my paranoia for keeping critical parts stock is justified), installed it in about three hours at a leisurely pace, and.......WOW!

The difference is AMAZING! DDMWorks dyno testing has to be right on the money, because my buttdyno concurs 100%

The car screams all the way to red line and is completely BAD@$$!!

Highly recommend!!

I can only guess based upon DDMWorks' dyno testing that I've gotta be somewhere close to 200hp, but I have a dyno scheduled for early July so I'll be able to tell you for certain in under a month.

Got my hood struts ordered up - one more thing I should've ordered at the start of my build, it's gonna make being under the hood so much easier!!

If anyone's wondered in the past, I price checked Redline Tuning against the cost of kitting all the components myself and Redline was found to be very competitive with the difference being negligible and the comfort of knowing that everything was spec'd with my Sonic in mind it made ordering from Redline the clear choice.

I can also honestly say that for the first time in my build I'm unsure of which direction to send my wallet in.... I really want to order Eibach Springs and a sway bar, but then I've also got about $500 worth of cosmetic mods that I've had my eyes on as well....(cue the swirling vortex for me to fall down while eyes shut and screaming madly....)

I gotta say I couldn't be more pleased with my eibachs. Really gave the car the look it needed. It's like performance and looks together!

Looking good, loving everything you have done so far! Maybe i missed it when i read through your thread but where did you get the grill from? It looks nice and clean oppose the the honeycomb that we have stock.

I believe I just bought the grill off of Amazon. It was chrome, I primed and painted it Inferno. I think I paid around $60??

Autoanything doesn't list any eibachs for a 2014 sonic

I installed the Redline Tuning hood struts last night, and all I could think about was how nice they would've been during the removal/install of the intake manifold...hindsight certainly is 20/20!!

I've also spent a bit of spare time debadging the rear end. I haven't decided what to do with the TURBO badge so for the meantime it is where it is. I totally respect all those with sedans that have worked to make their rides totally worthy of a head turn driving down the road, but you have to admit the Sonic Hatchback is way BA looking!!

how hard were the hood strut installs? it's the next thing im considering but im not the most hands-on person lol.

like if something is a 10 minute install for someone, its probably a 45 minute install for me lol
