Cruze Wiper Nozzle

I've seen a few posts lately about wanting to change the nozzles for a spray pattern rather than the stream.

The Cruze nozzles do indeed fit the Sonic. You will find you'll go through a bit less washer fluid.

Part number: 95226510

It's a simple swap, pull the hood insulator, disconnect the hose from the nozzle, push the tabs on either side of the nozzle and push through the hood. To replace, do the same in reverse!

I changed them over the winter because our roads get so full of salt and sand, your windshield just gets plastered. Had to refill every couple days. This changed it to every 3 or 4 instead lol

They came in, I installed. they spray the ENTIRE windshield with a nice misty spray...it's so nice.... sure you're getting all the windshield, even past the reach of the wipers...but it's so nice...If you have the means I highly recommend it

Coming from a cruze this was my first complaint about the car. Typically a gallon of washer fluid would last my cruze 3-4weeks, only lasted a week with the sonic sprayers.

Can't wait to do this mod, any tips on removing the hood insulator?

Any autoparts store should have this.

Just undo enough of the tabs (leave the two on the left or right on, it'll flap down exposing the wiper nozzles). Squeeze the tabs on the nozzles and push up (use needle nose)... easy peazy

The mist still does a better job covering the window, just hold it down a second or two longer to get a heavier coat. The nice even coverage is WAY nicer in the winter as well, especially if you use a good winter washer fluid.

I find the original design very very inefficient, to the point of being useless. Today I had a bug on my window, 6 times I tried the washers and no water would hit that spot. Most just ends up in the cowl drains or getting captured by the drivers wiper and flung off the window.

i ended up stopping the car eventually and manually cleaning my windshield.

I'm buying mine on amazon, you could go to your local dealers parts counter and get them to order them for you as well(at more cost).

Think they are $12 a piece on amazon.
