Obviously your expectation was not met by reality... welcome to car ownership. I remember my first time.If cars were dependable there wouldn't be service centers or warranties. Good to know it didn't cost you out of pocket, it could have been a much worse ending than "they fixed it, problem solved"

A warranty should be the assurance in the product as such, "We're confident in our product, but should you have a problem we'll take care of it".
Having a warranty is great, but when you have a product that's out of service for issues that it shouldn't have, it does not speak well about the quality of the product.
So while I agree with you that the problem is "solved", it has been an annoyance over just having a car that requires regular service and not much else. That's what I expected with the Sonic (or any car I buy).
It's fine and dandy to have your opinion. As you've begun to slowly realize (or perhaps not) , your opinion doesn't create fact. The manufacturer creates a warranty to avoid law suits, not help you or guarantee the product.
