I think he just found out that the exhaust is fully welded from the flange at the cat all the way back to the exhaust tip. A couple of flanges (or just one before the axel) would have been nice....

I believe that's what it is. I am out of town or I would measure it, maybe Eric can get you a verification. I would just buy the muffler or pipe size you want and then have the muffler shop deal with the adaptor and weld it up for you.

cut the muffler off and take it with you to the shop, its better without the muff just like rdss' old lady
