I have a 2013 sedan 1.8 gas sonic. Lately its's developed a sporadic, but regular miss at idle. I have replaced the plugs, the coil ignition springs and boots. I cleaned the throttle body thoroughly with the MAF sensor. I changed the MAP sensor, and threw in a new battery just for good measure. STILL MISSING! I replaced the timing belt at 90K just to be on the safe side. This is my Baby and its like she's dying of some unknown cancer. Something tells me St. Judes would laugh at me if I tried them. And the dealer would probably spend hours racking up a bill that will ultimately be a fortune for a trivial part. (yes it happened when I tried to get the advertised mileage from them, and it turned out to be a hole in the intake tube that was on a recall but only if you complained loud enough) Is there any chance for me to resurrect my vehicle from the ominous death it's hurtling towards?
