I would get the code read at autozone or something like that so you know what the actual code is. If its an evap code then it could be the recirculatory valve in the valve cover which can cause rough idle and stalls. It is a common problem with the 1.4l engines but is a very simple fix. As...

Compressor would be the last thing to replace imo. There are quite a few nannies that keep the compressor from engaging. I would check, or have checked, the coolant levels and leak test the system. It could just be a line with a leak. It could also be temperature sensor that's not reading right...

Oh, and to fix it I just taped up the wires cause I just didn't care enough to get a new sensor and re wire it haha works like a charm
