2013 Chevy Sonic 1.8 no crank , no start nightmare

For about a year, my son had his Chevy sonic and it would occasionally die . He could get it to re-crank he took it to the dealer and they wouldn’t touch it because he had a aftermarket stereo and amp system. He took it to electrical mechanic shop. They had it for one week and said nothing was reproducible. No idea . He went ahead and put a new battery in a new ECM Still occasionally cut off.

so fast-forward to about three weeks ago car dies, no start no crank. The starter is good. I replaced it anyways I can jump the solenoid and it will crank but not start. I’ve checked all the fuses. I’ve checked all the grounds. Everything looks good. My next step I guess will be just to go and replace every ground.
any thoughts or opinions?

This is a bit old now but to add something.

The majority of the times I have no start with vehicles is from a loose battery cable. If it moves, its loose. This can also be random like. Needs to be really pressed down and wiggled and tightened.

Something I don't like is dielectric grease on the battery terminals. I can't stand that. That can cause issues if it gets in the middle.

But, it can help to find a start chart. There's different paths on a chart to more quickly narrow things down. Like cranks yes, engine fires, Spark to plugs yes, fuel to filter? Or, cranks no, starter spins yes, solenoid stuck/ not powered or flywheel problem. There's a lot of stuff involved to get a vehicle running. Find a free chart and go through it. Might just help
