    Engine Code "Run Def"

    Check engine light - code reads "Run Def" on 2012 Chevy Sonic. The code reader has no numbers displayed; just the words "run def." Ecotec engine. Two mechanics have no clue. Does anyone have a solution? The engine seems to be running fine for an old car with 92,000 miles. Thanks!
