Found my issue vheck your spark plug gap i messaged bnr and thats what they said to check and it fixed it they should be at .025

My 2019 1.4t sonic rs has quite a bit of supporting mods and after i installed the pcv fix ported intake manifold, and larger throttle body from zzp i had bnr tune for it. My car on cold starts has been reving to 3k rpm and has started to missfire when underload only when i press the trottle...

my guess would be your alternator is going out ive delt with a similar issue my dad had. If i was you i would also pick up ZZPerformance big 4 wire bundle.

thank you for your insight update i just bought a 2019 sonic rs 1.4 hatch and will be takeing all the mods off my 2013 and adding them to the new one then putting the 2013 back to stock to sell. should i be conserned for reliability
