Yup, there’s a little nipple that is actually the non-serviceable PCV valve; it gets sucked into the engine. You either replace the intake manifold or do a bypass modification. Contrary to what many say, the PCV valve is not the round diaphragm in the valve cover. Hope this fixes the lean condition!

Drivers door lock actuator will solve the mystery locking and unlocking. You can get one on eBay relatively cheap and install yourself if mechanically inclined. There’s YouTube videos of how to do it. Hope that helps y’all.

It’s the turbo coolant outlet hose. You have to remove the cat to get to it; they sell the coolant and oil inlet/outlet hoses as a set on eBay. Do all 4

You can unplug your MAF sensor; it’s the plug on the air filter snorkel. You won’t have cruise control, the cooling fan will run constantly, but the shaking and rough idle will stop. Temporary solution until you can repair. It’s bad for engines in the long term to run lean for too long.

There’s a reason that diaphragm fails and it’s because the check valve in the intake is missing. You can’t replace the check valve; must change out manifold. That diaphragm won’t last forever.

I’m gonna bet that P0171 comes back…when it does, replace the intake manifold and valve cover. There is a component of each (HORRIBLE DESIGN) that fails; the part that fails is integral to the manifold and valve cover meaning you can’t replace it, gotta change the whole thing. That PCV hose is...

Do you have the belt on and tensioned before taking the lock tool off? If it’s too tight to get the tool out with the belt tensioned, put a wrench on the machined flats just behind the sprockets. You can wiggle the camshaft by putting slight pressure on the wrench; not enough to turn anything...

Depends on your level of experience; if you can do brakes I’d say go for it. It’s very straightforward and shouldn’t take more than an hour. Just replace the entire control arm
