So my new(ish) sonic came with holes drilled in the cat converter? Which makes no sense to me. Maybe it was clogged, maybe previous owner's son is moronic. Do you guys think I could wrap muffler tape around it? Or get it welded? The check engine light is on (of course) but don't know the code...

Hey guys. New member. Just had a Sonic gifted to me. 1.8 liter, 5 speed manual. New tires, brakes, engine. No rust, a coupla small dings. 180,000 km. I am used to driving an F150, so this is a lot cheaper on gas, and more fun to drive
