Hi, I am a noob Sonic owner (2013 LTZ). I have a Yaesu Ham radio I'd like to mount in the car. I was thinking of drilling the holes for the mounting bracket/screws into the passenger-side panel to the right of the gear shift. Will this damage anything underneath? Will the screws grip on to that...
