So the European Cruze made by Holden started a 1.6 turbo gas Ecotec. According to my research the part numbers for the gaskets are the same and the bolts and manifold does directly bolt to the 1.8. Feel free to check into it if I’m wrong please correct me this is just a thread to give some of us...

I’m just curious why the 1.8 gets so much hate I can understand there aren’t a lot of options for aftermarket parts but everyone acts like the 1.4 is just way better but it’s sad even with the turbo it has 138hp and 148ft lbs. while the 1.8 has 138hp and 125ftlbs like my car right now already...

so somehow today I busted the cover on the differential on my 5speed 1.8. Need to find one ASAP had to drive it home no cell service now has a whine. Going to replace cover and fluid and hope but may have to replace whole trans. Anyway can anyone help me out on solutions I can’t find one...
