I was surprised to receive a 'water pump' letter for my 2012 1.4t. It says watch the level (don't run to the dealer) )and if the water pump actually leaks they will change it, for as far as 10 years and 150K miles.

At 8K miles I decided it was time to rotate the tires. I discovered that all the wheel lugs were tight but much looser than 100 ft lb. I am clueless as to whether the factory made them tight and the alloy 'creeps' with time, or if they were always not tight enough? Has anyone else made this...

Under the hood of my HB there is a piece of black trim on the right inner fender, but not on the left side. There are unused holes there however. Does your car have trim on both sides? I have a photo but not sure how to post it.

I washed the car, two week old white HB and started looking closely at the paint finish. The roof, hood, rear hatch finish is good enough for my eyes. All four doors have more 'orange peel' on the surface. (The spray was a wetter process?) I suspect that the doors are painted at a different...

Factory ordered white LT, 1.4T Manual in April and delivered last week. I am in the grandfather age group. Pleased with 37 -38 indicated mpg in the first 125 miles. First gear acceleration takes some getting used to. Pleased so far with this toy.
