Did you ever find out? Because I'm wondering too on my 2013 Sonic RS.

So I'm tripping up a P0420 code in Bank 1. Does that narrow the issue down to my upstream O2 Sensor only? Or could Bank 1 pertain to my downstream sensor (behind the Cat) as well?

Does anyone have any more information on this? I've never noticed it before either until.... I asked my wife to start my car for me so I can check something under the hood. She presses the brake first because she's used to automatics and mine is a 6-Spd RS. That's when we hear the ticking...

Could you take a picture of your dash when the overheating indicator comes on? I've never seen it before and would like to know what to look for in case it ever does please.
