So is anyone on this forum that may have information about the Sonic headlight configuration? Considering all the things done to make the Sonic more aero I'm curious why the headlights were left open? Are there venting considerations, etc? Or was it just less expensive to build without a more...

I'm not sure how this all works. I am very mechanically inclined etc and I just don't get the aftermarket intakes I see. Aren't they sucking in enough warm engine air to lower potential power output? The engine compartment of the sonic retains a lot of heat unless moving at pretty high speeds...

I've heard about this engine but I'm curious if you guys know anything about it and it's potential. I'm thinking about trading in my 2011 Malibu for a new LTZ Malibu. If this car is half as fun to drive as the Sonic and you can tune more power from this engine then I'm pretty stoked.

Got my Sonic about a week ago and loving it. Can't wait for the first few mods. I'm gonna start with the tune then add a body kit. After that it's the all important SS badges. :D I'm loving the Black/Brick interior as well. It really sets off the sportiness of the car.
