today i did a test drive with a obd live data temp output on my sonic 2012 1.8 - temp spread was from 217F to 225F for a 1/2 hour test run - cooling fan never came on - guys on utube are telling us these sonics are programed to run at higher temps - my other cars cycle from 185F to 188F...

both a sonic 2012 1.8 5 spd and a 2013 1.4 turbo auto - while driving afer the car is up to operating temp 217 deg far the charging out put drops from 14.9v +/- to 12.6v +/- and continues under power at 12.6v is this normal on a sonic ?
