1.4Turbo

Greetings All,

I just purchased a hatchback 2014 ltz 1.4 turbo - it feels somewhat sluggish - is there a "sport" mode or something I should be looking for or is the the turbo always on?

I have a 2015 ltz. I feel that initially the gas is pretty weak, but once the boost kicks in, it takes off.

Any codes? There’s is some turbo lag, but it should feel somewhat peppy, unless you’re coming off a sports car....

Are there any codes\check engine light?

...it is only a 1.4t; do you have an auto or manual?

Trying driving it in manual mode and shift (reason I wouldn't get a Subie Crosstrek until they either turbo the engine or shoehorn in that 2.5L in the other vehicles)...so I hope I like the Sonic I go to test drive on Tues....
