I was going to say there are a couple good Youtube vids that show what you're asking about after showing a timing belt change but I don't have the experience to help on that topic. This forum is almost dead compared to what it used to be, probably since half the people have probably sold their sonics. The rest seem to have moved the the reddit forum I linked and I believe another one on facebook.
