Hello everyone! My name is Fabricio and I recently bought a 2013 Chevy Sonic Hatchback 1.8 LWE. It was very cheap because the car didn't work and it was very dirty . I installed a new starter, battery, thermostat housing, radiator hoses, spark plugs, water pump and serpentine belt.
I deleted the DTCs and now there is no error. However, the engine crank but doesn't start.
I installed a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and the pressure is 4 bar (58 psi) which I believe is normal. I cleaned the fuel injectors and they are working. I tested them with the scanner Maxicom MK808TS.
With the scanner, I checked the crankshaft sensor, intake camshaft sensor and exhaust camshaft sensor and they all show the values when I try to fire it up. I compared the information with the other Chevy Sonic and everything seems to be normal.
I have a friend who owns a Sonic and we switched the coil pack and relays. I checked the fuses and none were blown and the engine still won't start.
There is no error on the dashboard.
Is there any way to test the coil pack harness?
Could someone please help me with suggestions?
Thank you guys!
