Virginia resident reporting in here with my sonic, 2013 rs hatchback. Got it maybe like 5 months ago and loving it. 12,000 mi when I bought it and at 19,800 mi now. Went from a 2007 avalanche and a 1990 240sx drift car fully spec'ed out with a sr20det swap, gutted, caged...etc to the sonic because drifting cost waaaay to much money for me right now(it's so fun though).
Decided on the hatch since I liked the convince of the truck so much that I did not want to go all the way down to a coupe (and come on, they look better!
). I was happily surprised that I can fit 4 17" wheels with no problem with the rear seat down.
Performance wise so far I have added a mpfab CAI which is awesome, I am a sucker for turbo sounds.
Exterior wise I am going for that murdered out look, have done tint, mud flaps, blacked out the chrome with vinyl, debadged the rear, and flexi dipped the wheels with the clear. I plan on painting the wheels properly at some point since the dip was to make sure I liked it, and I will paint the calipers then aswell. I have new plates on the way with the sr71 on them which I think will look pretty cool aswell.
The next thing I want to do is the short shifter lever, then contemplating exhaust and a tune at some point.
