2014 RS or 2015 LT?

The RS also has heated seats, a leather wrapped steering wheel, racing pedals, different gearing, different front end and rear, rear disk brakes, leather seats. There are a lot of differences. I bought a '14 RS because there was an extra $500 rebate. This is one vote for the RS. The only thing I'd change about the RS is to add a 7th gear for better highway MPG.
Yeah, I was leaning towards the RS. I'm just trying to find it in a different color.

Use the Chevrolet site to build an '14 RS and search the area's dealers for inventory. That's how I found my '14. Alternately you could browse the local dealers inventory on their websites. We drove 300 miles round-trip to pick up a '14 RS yesterday. It was worth it.

There is also a different steering weight feel to the RS, which might be the hardest thing to transfer over to a lesser model Sonic.

I vote for the RS, but I am biased since I have one.

No brainer.... RS for all the reasons listed above + 10mm lower, firmer struts/shocks, unique fog lamps, and 17" alloy wheels. Warranty starts from purchase date so no loss there. If they're asking the same price the RS is more value.

Doesnt matter which one you get it will be a awesome handling car either way id go rs since the interior is better.

If price isn't that big of a factor: RS
The only issue I've read about on this Forum that would be a concern regarding the RS, would be the rear disk brake, parking brake cable mechanism freezing, due to water entering the cable housing. Making sure the cable boots are correctly assembled apparently prevents this from happening.
The other determining factor is the fuel mileage rating on the RS trim is lower due to the gear ratios. I had contemplated trading my LTZ trim 1.4 manual for an RS, but then I would no longer have the capability to get in excess of 40 mpg. That is why I still have an LTZ and not the RS.

Same reasons I bought my LTZ. The higher gearing can get you numbers north of 40 at REALISTIC highway speeds. Driving 40 mph to achieve 40 MPG's is not real world on the highway. My LTZ comes close to 40 MPG cruising at 65-70 mph in the dead of winter, temps below 20 degrees, burning winter-grade fuel, and being no-so-easy on the throttle (it's fun to really drive it).
Ideal summer driving conditions are going to be amazing this year. Can't wait!

I went RS and wish I had a 7th gear. 3000 rpms at 70mph in 6th is the truth. I drive city most of the time and get 33-35mpg and am loving it. Just wish I could get more on the freeway.
