2015 Chevy sonic ltz turbo 1.4 overheating after new radiator!

I’ve had my Chevy sonic for a little over a month now. When we first bought it the temperature light would come on for 5 seconds and go off. I always made sure to keep fluid in the radiator! Last week I was driving it home and the light came on, so I pulled over and steam came out from under the hood. The radiator busted! Fast forward to yesterday and today.... we have the radiator replaced with a new one, today we tried to drive it to get the alignment checkout out and we overheated again!!! The mechanic who put our new radiator in says the fan works and so does the water pump! I tried looking online for help but I can’t seem to find any kind of information on my car!! Can someone please help?!?

Perhaps they did not bleed the radiator and you have an air bubble stuck? There is a petcock on the right side behind the radiator. Make sure the car is cool and open it up with a phillips head. You are gonna hear it hiss if you have some air. Wait until you see coolant drip out. Do you have coolant in the overflow tank?
