About to be a SONIC OWNER

Hey guys! I'm a 19 year old college student and for the past 2 years my current car (2001 BMW 330i) has been crapping on me, causing multiple repairs and so much money spent. Well again its crapping on me, but this time I've decided to get a new car that's more reliable and fuel efficient. I'm getting either a 2012-2013 Chevy Sonic with around 24k miles on it. It's not the color that I want so I got a guy working on finding the perfect one. Hopefully it will have the 1.4 turbo engine, but if it doesn't the 1.8 still kicks but and i will tune the crap out it. Regardless I'm very excited because this is the car for me. I will post shortly once I get the sonic.

Thanks for joining the community. It's very exciting to get a new "to you" car, especially at your age.

I remember when I bought my 2nd used car at 19 years old...a 1986 Pontiac Grand Am. I couldn't wait to bring it home and tear it apart. Unfortunately, the world wide web wasn't even a thought yet...so everything was done by word of mouth or experimenting with my buddies. Roll ahead 24 years and we're practically spoon fed all the products, enhancements, and modifications that give us instant gratification.

honestly the GM cars are built to last, the parts are fairly cheap since they are usually interchangeable between brands
